Aerobic Walkman Brooke Shields (No 208)

During one of my late night trips into depths of the eBay I stumbled upon her...

I absolutely lobe 80s vibe and a quiet harm of post-clone vip doll LOL

Copyrighter in 1982 by BCS & Co Inc. and made in Hong Kong
I loved the loud neon Aerobic set but now I don't think it is an original one.

She ended up amongst all those wonderful gifts we shared between me and my children _ I am also somebody's baby but I no longer have a Mum so we celebrate together:-)

happily unboxed and unwrapperd

Her face sculpt and make-up is very good and even stylish.

hair are hopeless and beyond saving...

Vintage or not - I just cut them....

Nicely plucked....and because I had no time so is still waiting moved left from right...

Meanwhile an interesting interview with Brooke Shields was published debronzing the golden era and finally allowing the childstar/bombshell to tell her own truth...

I personally remember her best from the Blue Lagoon

and friendship with Michael Jackson

So 80s but ahead of her times with the eyebrows...

There have been several editions and quite an impressive amount of extra fashions too

Very cool. Not sure I will be faithful to the era...
...here is one amazing custom by noeling

Carboot 12.07.20

You know what it means - thelookout historical ones - the first two after end of lockdown (aka 'inbetween waves').
I went alone, by bus, wearing a facemask...there have been fewer stalls and fewer buyers, everybody a bit shy to touch anything...

I didn't get super lucky but it felt great and I was on a kids' for kids stuff they declared interest in during lockdown games...

The first one was very shabby and small but I managed to get these feather-weight hollow vintage clones.
I have a soft spot for these...so sad a tacky...spooky twins...

Things have been done to them...but at least someone played with them...

here they are - cleaned and brushed - still creepy-cute and waiting for their diorama moment...

Edit
Still no proper photoshoot but I was 'lucky' enough too purchase yet another set of soft-shell clone dolls - this time rubbery brunette and dark-haired 'Cindies' ;-)

I think they will do a great job as paranoid timid set of sisters!

Just look eat them!
