Contemporaria - my dolls nr 139 & 140

Oh no, more sins...
but I blame my in-laws.. not only that I had more time for myself and Internets as they took some good care for kids - once I even managed to walk ALONE and was passing by Toys'r'Us LOL so you know...

At the time I was rarely going to the shops and my doll places were carboots and ebay... I found some pleasure eyeing new Fashionistas and mc2 project beauties... and then I saw her... three things I love - Cassandra face (or is it Kim), mtm body, tanned/aa skin tone and unusual styling... wait that's four...

For some reason this Mtm AA Football/Soccer player doll was cheaper than the semi-dressed yoga mtms so I hesitated only a little... I never buy boxed dolls in a shop so it felt like super special... she spend time between 11.04.17 and 17.01.18 boxed with in a box... but I swear I will let her move at last... and I need these sulfur yellow socks!!!

Mattel actually has quite a story of female footballers - who would think...

all stiff AF...
well maybe except of 1998 kicking one...

oh wait... and these poor ladies;-)

AND this adorbs German footballer with a coach (names names!)

I will debox her on some other occasion but hear not!
...dolls never travel alone, we know that already...

O that day a fab package arrived as well
..and in there yet another of my ebay moments - contemporary fashionista from a cool play set. Nude but still cheaper than any doll in ugly artificial stretchy fabric + overlock seam dress...

She is absolutely gorgeous Fashionista nr 34 B-fabulous 2016 wearing the best outfit of 2016:-)))
Despite having fab Indian peninsula colouring she seems to be really dead in the eyes and her lips are non-defined sticker-like... I don't know what's wrong with the play line Goddes face-sculpts... do they use cheaper rubber or worn out molds... they almost look like recasts really...

thats a fab fashion pack actually...
her promo pics are very cool...the real doll is a bit too orangey and her face smeared with glue...

here she emerges - I wisjh her eyes were as green as on promo pic... should i help her with that...
Months later I finally decided to donate the over-exploited mtm Asha's body to her (maybe only just for a while, right?)is it's a great match...
Clothes are from the future, so to speak....
..but wait! what have just happen!?

Dizzy but happy Jasmina (well I guess) in very impro session...

Here she is in my usual sneaky peek 'preview' of the proper session
I made after I remembered I even got her while writing this post LOL

I am stil learning to pose this body...her face needs contouring and this glue is definitely there, on her face;-)

....like rediculous double chinchin selfie with a doll?

  1. Glad you got a doll in the box, lol! Although I do always love seeing you transform your dolls into something new and lovely! The photo of the foosball Barbies are amazing! Good use of stiff Barbie bodies I would say! Your Goddess Fashionista #34 looks great on the Asha MTM body - she should keep it!
