Oh I finally did it!
The early lockdown freeze and the fear of any trade caused greater availability of dolls on-line. I got my coins together and decided to get myself more Fleur sisters directly from Netherlands. I got three very tired ones (I can use Sindy bodies for photos after all) and even with the shopping costs they were more affordable than the rare ones from ebay auctions here in UK...
such a happy hybrid she is!
(Live doll hair, Petra's body)
and yes...they came n vintage case..
I don't own Sindy nor Barbie one so this is super exciting!

tadaam!
..it's a mass grave:-)
No.1
according to on-line sources:
"1970s The first Fleurs had a very distinctive body - very long legs, tiny waist, pointy boobs, and very small hands. As illustrated, they looked quite out of proportion. These bodies seem identical to Martinair Sindy." https://www.fleurdolls.com/bodies.html - check
"Strawberry blonde and Hong Kong stamp on both body and head." check
"Gauntlet Fleur with painted and rooted lashes!" check
It's a score...got myself the proper BROWN LOVING vintage Fleur :-)
and Robynne Miller of flicks depiction:
"1970s face - usually a hard head, with small eyes and mouth in comparison to 1980s faces. (80s) heads were soft, medium, or hard. This face is more rounded, with much larger eyes." https://www.fleurdolls.com/faces.html No 2.
"Logo Fleur dolls (here as an example Bermuda Fleur) were also made with a fringe and a ponytail. There are several different Logo Fleur dolls with slightly different facial and hair features, but they all have one thing in common: They have a raised Fleur logo at the back of their head. Special Offer Fleur has no logo." - more about these here: https://www.lulemee-art.com/2022/02/23/special-offer-fleur-1983/

..and then there is her:
perfect eyelashes, perfect lipsies!
...crapicious hair!!
...let's explain the mystery:
'Aerobic brunette - Strangely, a few strands of hair were rooted below the ears, probably to force the braids to lie flat to the head when braided. "
"Late 80s These dolls had a Fleur logo stamped on the back of their heads, under the hairline (pictured below).'
tadaaam 3!
I forgot I remember her...
Maybe one of my girlfriends in 80s had one...
and me attending ballet school and owning the Jazz dancer...oh!
Really happy to have at least the jogging / lounge set...
<3 welcome my cohort! <3
