My doll no. 150

Today documentation of carboot from 31.05.17, when my sister was visiting. The enjoyed this slightly exotic yet very Birtish activity:-)
I tried to be modest and clever and looked only for black trousers for work but somewhat, in a mean time, got slightly lucky...

I have dug her out in very last minute - barely played with fashionista body Nikki in not-completely-horible outfit and all limbs! She turns out to be Barbie X2281 Nikki Fashionistas Star with Dog.

...her head is so huge i feel like moving her onto curvy body;-)

Here she is after super quick make-over with most fashionable (at the time) orange 'lipstick'

Congratulations on being my 150th doll described!

very lovely mold and long bangs cover her over the top blue:-o make-up;-)

She will soon be back on my blog  exciting international adventures...

Have you noticed a cute little book randomly chosen from a full collection I didn't want to invest in or carry tbh... Silly friendship/jealousy book 'for girls' but photographs are amazing...
but be careful.. you can develope a desire for Teenage Skipper LOL

:-)

---------------------

Week earlier I was lucky enough to buy quite a few things which are now a part of my everyday life - i was surprised to see they all came from carboot and on the same day...

My daughters purple birthday dress, vintage handbag, decorative cake plates, Joules jersey scarf, blue Indian thingie for sorting letters I now keep using as dolls shelving;-)...
also this collection of ugly shoes I have my daughter and vinyl Disney tunes:-)
Dracullare with no arm but shoes instead and Build a Monster handsome head with fab marine wig:-)

My dolls - nr 78

Today's post is dedicated to my first contemporary Fashionista whom I purchased from eBay on 10.07. 2016... but things are not happening in vacuum... on that week my desk top looked like that...

I have sold the Vintage Jam...(I usually add some matching accessories, craft materials)
...and I started to move my 'processed = cleaned, redressed, photographed and described dolls into Ikea box from lack of proper furnishing and because my 'sewing room' is our guest room with a huge bed in the center #occupy...
definitely not 77 dolls in here - never believe internetz time works different here...
...but definitely mostly brunettes

Back to today's arrival...

I will never understand why people pack dolls like mummies...not only you can feel its a doll, but her neck can be snapped and hair cut during struggles with cellotape...

peekabooo
I am definitely on fringe and minimal make-up team!
red lips, fair skin and flat feet - very happy me:-)
I also love how small her boobs are and that her waist is a bit more natural too!

mine was wearing nice /sooo nylon-lycra/ Barbie fashions
(which i sold despite being purple, graphic and tasteful)

I was a complete ignorant about world of contemporary dolls so actually had to identify her - they really look the same now lOL
..except of bangs and red lipstic ofc...

she is 2016 nr 19, Ruby Red Floral Dress Asian Fashionista...

Unfortunately mine is missing her shoes:-(

for finale one stolen 'asian' picture:

My doll nr 33

...following previous post I will present my other vintage classic beauty from That Box...
She aswell looked like something I never witesed before - straight arms but piercing blue eyes with kind of a cog shaped iris AND funny, a bit risen eyebrows. Fringe - I always dreamed about...

very retro looking earrings are not original and when i heated head with water - they turned out to be dressmakers pins - which confused me a lot when 'identifying'...

I used wonderful Italian page Barbieworld - there were at least three dolls looking similar (but only one with bangs). Lunarh confirmed again...

tres dolly looking is she: 'My First Barbie 1984'

in her original outfit (no thank you)
other's were 'My first Barbie' from 1980 and 'Fabolours Fur' 1983

Here's how she looks over 30 years later in an improvised, temporary lace little thing:

 very healthy Blonde again...
(oh I love my new camera:-)
...I guess they an see more Superstars on horizon comming in near future...
