Charity Superstar Haul (231, 32+)

Today I am happy to report about next successful charity shop patrol resulting in mini sentimental haul. 
My heart sank a little the moment I spotted these familiar patterns...

Yes, she is a cousin of my original Cote d'Azurre Fashion Play Barbie from 1987!

Awwww they are such modest cousin who stayed home and did not made it to Malibu vibe

I so clearly remember the decision making process bawneen temptation of a red-lipped barbie and wise decision to avoid teh super curly hair as I only had one doll at the time and she had to be able to pull of everything...

She's smiling again - 30 years with no bath an sin teh same clothes :-(

She even went through  very hopeful curling process but the fluff needs to go...

Next comes terrible egg-yolk blond Ken but his starry fit resonated...

Never seen him before but to my surprise he also has a cousin...

...ah yea - I wans't wrong...I think my friend had Barbie back in the day...but I didn't realise about the reversibility trick...

Last but not least - I stumbled upon a real life Strange Barbie - very mutilated individual dressed by a maniac... I managed to negotiate a price reduction so that i can take her to rest in peace at mine LOL

She's been very much a glitter covered (easter) kinder surprise egg...

underneath her blue rag creation was a genuine Barbie 90s sexy lil something...

the nest of her chopped of hair revealed a pink gizmo...

This excavation helped greatly in identification using internetz...

..can you imagine the sensational amounts of glitz and glom...just gone.

Hawaii 75 (No. 212)

 Today a very lucky find, so called 'Barbie in the wild' from my local charity shop...

I couldn't believe my eyes - dark -eyed and dark-haired Steffi faced Hawaii Barbie! Thr only thing that would surprise e more would be the that vintage Italian beauty...

She is wearing a summer 70's peasant dress. Her hair is shoulder length and rather poor...

Real floral cotton and very tired loop...

Her body markings say 1956 Korea!! How unusual!

Her hands are at two different angles....and hel legs are proper old-school high-heel arch!

...and head says 1965 Korea...

...what a mysterious beauty....

Here is a sneaky peek of the new chapter in life she will have at mine....

Mattel has the long time fascination with their local tropics - Hawaii.

Definitely one of the favourite Barbie's destinations....

...at least from 1964...

Then come these beauties 1975 and...1982...so confusing...

Ok, so 1982 one has different hair and straight hands (due to lack of ukulele as well)

Then Superstar happen....

Very interested makeup...I must hunt for her actively...

Late 80's bring us Island Fun with gorgeous Kira..

Followed with beautiful limited edition, collectable 1995 Polynesian beauty....

Next in 2005 comes Barbie Pink Label Dolls of the World Princess Of The Pacific Island Doll  with Goddess face-sculpt

Last but not least highly desirable, hazel-eyed Lea - Hawaii Passport Barbie line from DOTW, 2011
