Charity shop trip (255 - 56)

Today a reportage from yet another guilty pleasure - out of London, charity shop trip to Woking and Guilford on 27/07/24. It wasn't as magnificent as the potential it had but still exciting and I've done some train-riding and sight-seeing as well:-)

So even before boarding the train I snatched these two from actual toy charity - narrow escape I swear...

They are both crazy finds and rather possessed dolls if you ask me...

What a literal dumb blonde doll - i love her!

and then her - I have no feelings / sentiment so she goes to a good home soon..

Gloves, boots, tiara and panties - yay!

I love her but there's nothing for me to restyle

To teh moon and back...or something...

I identified them as:

Jakks pacific Holly from 90's
Irvin Toys Sailor Moon 2000/2001

There's so many obnoxious variations <3

1997 Jakks Pacific Holiday Elegance Doll is my one
My Doll 255 (annually but still)

...she later mutated into proper Barbie clone...

other Irvin dolls

...and boxed doll (naaaahhh)

Then i another shop I was very surprised to find this Tennis Teresa - she has a modern look with no make up and strong brows and has blonde hair which brakes the mould...of this mould..

She is really surprising in her teresness....
My doll No. 256

She is a  2019/2020 You Can Be Anything Tennis Player Barbie (GJL65)

+ I also got this very 80s knitted loud fabric

someone is very excited...

Bye!

Weekend haul 20/07/24 (251)

Ok, ok..i must admit it's a dangerously looking couple of posts... I can see the emerging pattern, but when stuff is there it's just there....

you have to snatch / save!

1. For example I thought it's a bit odd that I have no single blond haired Rosebud Heart Family toddler, right? RIGHT!? eBay served / saved :-)

the plastic tub itself - I have exactly the same one with bicycle beads, plastic letters and my retired Fleur accessories and first handmade doll necklaces.

Baby stuff container.
Completely forgot these existed....how cleaver, cheap and eco.
Little pop-out cardboard accessories :-)

followed by collection of choking hazards...

Few classics here as well as familiar Barbie fabric

...and here they are.....blonde boy with rooted hair and freckled girl, hurrey!

Oh, and a new born. Useful!

Baby update :-)

2.Then I found this doll....basic playline but she's dark-haired and has dimples mould... simple shoes, simple party dress, stiff body....

BUT this face (and very trending brows!)

She is one of these most basic grocery shop / petrol station ones

3. and then the other weekend day i went for a rad trip to Guilford. The riverside path has been partially cut-off and charities were not exactly giving but there she was......worth saving - oh and this barbie friendly jersey as well...

(ah, and my Shin Barbie / crocks bag)

She has oddly greasy hair and she has a Made in China vibe....

My Doll No. 251

..cannot see any pink eyeshadow but seeing these stars...i want to believe its her
 - one of my childhood crushes......
