Weekend haul - No. 248 - 250

It was a good one...

1.Dolls I've been eyeballing forever finally dropped in my charity shop.

Lovely generation girl Indian barbie with bindi
Lots of puffy dry hair but great colouring and concept all together

...and my first MC2 doll....
I had some morale and no money when they first came out so the clothes fever missed me.

Welcome beautiful McKeyla

...and relax in forever home...

Washed and rebodied....

Dark gothic future....

2. Then I started browsing and daydreaming and made a decision - I want my childhood heart Family rocking horse back!...Had to cancel a transaction as to my astonishment I have found this unboxed set.... - it deserves a separate post...

3. Then...unfortunately this Barbie bundle happened but it incl Dimples and Western, Asha & Curvy.
Western Barbie is my childhood grail again _ i had bots and pieces and one earring messy doll...soo....

Hurrey!!! No. 249

The best colour combo eVer!

Complete Sindy for a good home....

Great mould and we like purple...

Tres sympa!

Cool casual fashions...

...and this tall Asian Asha and her stylish minimalistic fashions - very pleased....No. 250

Poor thing....

Dollmeet Freebies (No. 217 & 18)

I always admired these posts on blogs and ista - gifts, swaps and donations coming from dollmeets - I am now happily part of these as well...

i brought these amazing minis home

Together with BTS delux doll and...be still my heart...

Fashion Play doll from my era....

as well as splendid dress and vintage denim cape... plus bag of gooodies...

I am super chuffed with this Barbie - she has nearly identical eye make-up as my childhood one and is adorably simple and modest  -  she is barely played with so her locks have this freshly out of the box feeling....

There was Christie and Teresa available as well

My childhood doll has the same narrow box and collectable stamps....

thank you dear collectors for sharing these <3

ah...memories....

Benetton Fun

What a half-single mum does when she spends her first Christmas ever without no parents, no children (30.12.19)?...other than reconnecting with Uni friend (also long term migrant) and having wine and a mixed plate of post-tradi foods....she obviously plays with dolls.... no other ones but a true Christmas Miracle ones - ones that she couldn't even dream of having!

Oh, how much fun was setting up these...
As you know and can see I'm not a doll fanatic and I mix up eras and collections a bit.
I love all the colours, vibe and memories they bring

...but what would be a shop full of clothes without colour-obsessed fashion dolls!!

The first to visit is the original, first wave Benetton Barbie (Made in China) wearing a contemporary bright Fashinsitas  mix & match set.

Next the Baywatch Barbie - an ideal of 90s beauty with matching make-up colour palette...

MMMrrrrrr

Oh! More friends are here!

Here is Kira - looking super summery...

...and her pattern-loving, blue-haired bestie Teresa...

..apologies for photos with flash but I've been obviously playing shops after work and in winter...

Yellow loving redhead came to say hi, as well...

Finally the original first wave Christi with recreated hairdo arrives...

...along with cousin Asha...

Group photos!!!

..last but not least -
a short video documenting the diorama setup:-)
