Sindy in New Forest

Monte Carlo Sindy's first time outdoors!

Like ever, since 90's...I cannot believe it!

She has been lucky enough to spend Easter'24 half-term in New Forest

and a near by Blackwater Arboretum...

You can tell those green eyes are hiding a forest fairy ....🍃

Adorbs 🍂🍃

<3 dollsize ivy :-)

Oh, she seems genuinely happy!

and the final stroke of wilderness - the perfectly violet rosemary bush!

Hasbro Sindies

Today a little sentimental journey... inspired by a poor Marmaid Sindy I have got with one of the smelly Barbie bundles...

She usd to have hollow floating rubber tail and a flastic flower srown shoved in the middle of her doll skull...but I got charmed with her siple and natural no-malke-up look... I played with a little with her eye colour only to decide to accept the chellange of the reroot (using dark blond china doll wig).

I was tepmpted to give her Ariel Alpaka one, but no - let's make it more difficult...

her head i ssoooo hard, glued and lack holes...and I couldn't remove the old roots
...and I basically have no tools as of yet...
bloody hell.. I got this far but had tabandon her for few mpnths after that...

love this ashy hazelnut colour on her

Something tells me I can't handle much more of this and she is desitned for undercut...

Anyway all this Sindy handling reminded me that I actualy own two quite unique, brunette versions...
Here they are in a simple shared session, redressed

my doll collection vol. 7 & 8

the next two dolls might be an actual begenning of collection.
I got them in my teens - first ones i was never playing with - just to adore, dress and posess ;-)
they still are embodiment of my dream fasion doll.
looking more like me - with natural, sun kissed brown hair.
not being soooo pink... and first of all - something very unussual in early 90s -
green and purple eyes, again, with vey natural make-up.

Sindy doll has quite an impresive history too (1963),and yay! its English :-)
you can read history (((here))).
"Sindy's "girl next door" look made her more popular than Barbie in Britain" sais it all.

here are my deer-eyed beauties:

and here they are in oryginal packaging/outfits:
