As usual when I make a conscius decission and effor to avoid new dolls a despicable charity shoo situation occures... like on this afternoon spent with my daughter off-nursery... casually strolling through smelly local charity...and bam!
I think I see THE BOOTs I always wanted.... but wait... its not just randomly dressed abandoned doll... actualy wait, two of them! Semi legendary Glam Look Fashionistas from the Barbie Dream House era... in like fuuulllll set of clothes and most of accessories still attached wth elastics... some of these are truly legendary...
...like what is wrong with nowadays children and consumption patterns!

all of this mine for 2.50 each!
I have been super tuff tho and have just stollen their bodies and resod heads;-)

My doll No 51

Once upon a time on Monday morning I've been coming back from a school drop off and just to have clear consciousness (or not), out of greed and curiosity) I just popped into local charity... and there she is...or maybe it was Friday afternoon - it didn't make much sense anyway...

Doll in a full outfit, with unusual haircolour, shoes! and articulated one..she is just sitting there (waiting for me obviously) with a price tag £1... I just grabbed her, payed, squeezed into mu purse and rushed home...

Obviously a horseriding outfit, genuine Barbie clothes, high boots I always dreamed about and this tottaly amazing amazing skin shade and auburn / hazelnut / idunno hair colour!

 make-up is basically brown and lipstick is dark nude... all that on Superstar face!

It wasn't too difficult to find out that its a 1997 Horse-riding Barbie...
She came boxed alone riding on a cardboard or in a gift set with a nice horse.

Mine is option 2 as I have found one  bow pin in her hair, yay!
Can't wait to restyle her - amazing potential in those colors!!

My doll nr 35

...the rest of my Swedish doll epic story goes like that - never leave a girl with unsatisfied doll appetite or you will PAY for it... After going through all three huge boxes of dolls I couldn't believe I am coming back with just three dolls... Despite being exhausted with all out winter voyage, having sniffy daughter and a dinner with an old pal in restaurant I decided not to take a rest...

I took all cash i was given plus my card;-) and hit charity shops in the center i remember so well from our Swedish times...

and eureca!... I managed not to buy any Bratz for repaint, but it was the first time I held Monster High in my hands and I fell for their articulation, and hey! Clawdin is technically a 'Black doll' plus  she came with outfit i could resale or some other excuses... there were some tempting Superstars - i almost lost my mind for... oh well - good stuff...

Got myself my first proper Fashionista doll...our relationship is a bit like 'I'm not in love but I wan't your body'... fully dressed, with shoes and jewelry, clean dress and original hairdo and interesting yet annoying green-yellow eyes...
 I am almost completely sure it is not boxed doll outfit...and i can't seem to find her in any fashionista waves/guides....but hey it is yet another Teresa's face!

I decided to say goodbye to the dress - love the shape but soft pink and glitter...same with earrings..and head...don't let me start about this new anchor with hooks...and amounts of glue attached to it and still tumbling in her poor empty head.

p.s. i=ok, these are lovey faces, i'd be deighted on eyear ago ..but not having eas,Christies etc...
