My Dolls, No. 133

I know I know... But I have this obsession of articulated bodies in the back of my mind and when I see one for 0.99 I have to have it... This time is a foxy Summer Fashionista with a ring... and annoying hoochy red streak...

I was going  to behead her but she actually has quite an interesting strong evening/alternative make-up kind of thing going on... AND I don't have this head-mold, right? (I think)... also I had to save her from these woollen grandma clothes (my daughter loves the pink set but she is 3.5 :-)

Here she is - my first Summer 2010!
left to right recycled plastic envelope and bubble wrap accommodation...
Granny's love - it warms my heart but I so want to save this sassy doll at the same time...

 wolf in a sheepskin
nice surprise underneath (not the winter pants)... and sea of pastel plastic...
tadaaaa just look at her face<3
There are two shiny red dress and streak dolls but only one has metallic hair and red lips...

she is part of a very shiny, glitter infused  2012 Rainbow collection / Fashionsitas wave 2
...even dudes have silver and golden accents.

This doll has a very strong face - look what Lara V. Vychuzhanina photography can get out of her!

Let's see what I can get out of her...

first I plucked all of her super-extra hair... added some blush and my first custom nailpolish  <3

here she is redressed enjoying her new life
and loving reds

...and more casual ones too...
...and a good book on this comfy vintage sofa:-)

..yeah, she's into vintage-ish mobiles too...

p.s. she arrived with a stiff Cinderella who already found a new home

Vintage Dress-up

Today something silly - my Carnival 2016 session 'Something old - something new' or modern fashionistas wearing vintage gowns...and getting totally wasted and trashed (literally)...

Here they are in the club during 'vintage party'...

Neko well in her anesthesia bliss state already.. soo stiff... Ken surprisingly underdressed.. miscommunication me thinks...

Casandra is one crazy girl...
she's been yelling, laughing and waving...

Poor Neko can't even feel her hat is loosing it too..
oh dear...
they are trying to clean afterwords but it turns out to be challenging...

better camera is better.. My digital Cannon EOS was able to show the baroque darkness of the early morning hours struggle happening by graffiti /my father's oil painting) and bins...

 silly saussages...

My Dolls, No.132

Yet another bargain I could not resist...
This is obviously yet another annoying Mattel/Disney very commercial collaboration based on real people and teenage stars...

All I know about High School Musical is what I've learnt from South Park guys, so to speak... it must be very annoying... do neo-post Beverly Hills...

just look at this picture - three heterosexual couples, caucasian, latino, black/mixed race;-) not the most subtle stitching... people in their 20s playing teenagers, grrrrrr

I am additionally annoyed by the fact that Gabriela doll is just everywhere I look bringing me countless disappointments being usually the only tanned brunette of the bunch...
Also - thay have hobbit / petite bodies and not proportional heads with very artificial / mature looking faces... not cool...

well..except of this one in far right... her face-sculpt is based on Desire/Artsy mold I believe and is nicely convincing in this editon. Make-up and hair on this one are very cool...

She was a present for myself for my sons 6th birthday in January;-)

Just look at her! So much potential (and dust)...
she also has two-toned hair in original hairdo and vintage stylised earrings -
not fab but I can see them on some 60's barbie ooak;-)
She came with two pairs of shoes and 3 sets of clothes. She is missing few original but the wonderful green cropped cardigan stolen from Hanna Montana will definitely do:-))

and the coolest sporty flats ever...
...I'm thinking about giving her regular body..or shooting first with Flavas and Petite...

Update. I could not stand her proportions. Petite bodies do not inspire me at all.
I 'upgraded' her transferring on to recent Fashionista Body (Goddes set) but now I am considering even going with MtM - just look ow good and vivid her face actually is!

I kept 'vintage' hair styling so far, really suits her!

My one-eye-open 'research' brings me to conclusion that there have been /at least/ three editions of these dolls - one every season... casual one, 2nd prob and 3rd graduation...at least...

Here are three different Taylors - mine is from playset with a rather handsome, yet sadly 'colour coordinated', boyfriend (Chad):

My dolls. No.131

The first doll from my headhunters stash to enjoy new body was 2015 Fashionista -
'Donut top' Skipper.

I think I will call her Donatella, which doesn't make much sense with her auburn hair...
She is very well done proper ginger with nice brown eyelashes, lovely gray-teal eyes and pale pink lips, which, I guess, I will forgive her this one time... She got quite an interesting body - articulated knees and one bend elbow...

This is a lovely mold which photographs really well...
Since suddenly all grown up she hopped into some pink underwear...

Couldn't wait to give her some proper clothes...
here is an exerpt from session with Chelsie:

she actually has two-tonne hair <3

p.s. here she is rocking the internet as a custom - repainted and with shortened hair. Interesting!
