Bluebells on campus

Today a lovely seasonal throwback - took exactly one year ago, right in time to catch forest blooming with bluebells and countryside filled with fluffy lilacs. Lovely british Spring - this time on UEA campus in Norwich.

Enjoy soft edition of my charming AA Mtm footballer (before possible decapitation):

such a good girl

Showing NOT off her fab socks!

my fav time of teh year - bluebells o'clock!

its been so beautiful I had hard times focusing on posing the doll
in any more sophisticated situation...

moving on....
monumental oak in the sun!

next unexpected lilac by the fence on the sid eof the road

i was so keen on getting myself a branch I took very few picctures...

therefore i decided to back-up session in my garden

crazy improvised wreath from Forget-me-nots and out-of-scale bluebels;-)

this is it
...but some socks at last!

bye!

p.s. here she is kicking out of her box!

(great things are waiting for her in future (despite loosing her body to someone else...)

Felt jackets

In between lives I am working on my doll designs and patterns
- for futire when things will return back to normal...

Here are exmples of my in-between-season creations
- felt coats modelled by my beloved Moxies.

They are inspired by this Barbie-size jacket presented before by lovely Jasmine...
(that one)

I have been developing the border and finish I experimented with before
on this returning red cardigan...

This time I have created my own custom textile by sttitching my teal fleece.

It's fun fabric to work with.
here is Moxie on her first try-on /fitting session

Truely refreshing scale to work with after years of struggling with Barbie's miniature slenderness...

The second outfit is coming along nicely - in my fav dusty heather felt

after few alterations and fitting I started to add details:

border with thick wool

and frill at the bottom crocheted with matchng mix of fine cotton threads

here it is modelled by dynamic Melrose

Second jacket got croched edge all around the front in pinks and purples...

good news - it fits Mademe Alexander doll as well (and looks much less like a coat)

girls reunited:

oh need some more of these... in every colour;-)
