Plain-air at last!

after rebodying one of the stages according to my doll's world observations is trying to do the great outdoors. I caught myself on remembering suddenly in the middle of the roadtrip - damn, i forgot my doll...but i don't have any outdoor doll...any doll in any bushes just doesn't make sense... if it is going to be forest I need something elfin.. .that takes planning, preparation and first of all a lot of serious sawing an di have short memory and not that much doll time (and day light) to spare...

Look! A mint shed!
but i have made first small step - I stepped outside my backyard kitchen door and used my aged brick walls and stylish mint green shed;-)
= Here are Generation Girl Nichelle with California Lea trying to enjoy themselves...

 look look, space inbetween

 shed shed shed, oh! shed!
was it any good?
 and a classic;-)

observation - it is not that easy to mae your dol ooking ful of life and graceful when you are in a hurry and
plainair sessions are merciless for your spine and knees;-)

My doll nr 36

ok, and now for something completely different...
I didn't care for Monster Highs in other ways that thinking that they are different, some designs are really clever and that i would probably like them as they are dangerous yet pretty and definitely not sweet.
I couldn't resist tho when I found this Clawdeen in Swedish secondhand - she is not only brunette but also quite clearly afro-american... so that she fits into my collection, right;-)
(I won't mention all those amazing repaint tutorials which made me fall for more pastel coloured bodies but about that in the 'next episode')

She came with most of her clothes so it was easy to identify her (I knew immediately that i am selling it all and make the doll my own)...

WOLVERINE AN DLAST CHRISTMAS TREE :-)

I must say once you have them in your hands...her huge eyes and blaise lips are charming and tiny bodies with tiny rat-like claws are pleasure to play with. I love this stylish scoliosis;-)

Really amazing hair I must say... love the curls and the balayage...

I won't have bigger problems with removing her make-up tho.. can't wait for my next repaint session!

..such a good posing...

I think I've found my new favourite spot...

p.s. she is Monster High Music Festival Clawdeen Wolf Doll
Here she is boxed, cartooned and in original clothes:

Cali Teresa revisited

Hi!
I already have other outfit for her and even proper photo session is done but i thought I will share this funny impression - improvised photoshoot of imporvised clothes...
As you remember (obviously!) it took me quite sometime to overcome this clash of tanned skin and frosty make-up...

here is my mini Polar Cali - Pearl Princess Teresa 2016 or something...oh just forget about it

My doll nr 35

...the rest of my Swedish doll epic story goes like that - never leave a girl with unsatisfied doll appetite or you will PAY for it... After going through all three huge boxes of dolls I couldn't believe I am coming back with just three dolls... Despite being exhausted with all out winter voyage, having sniffy daughter and a dinner with an old pal in restaurant I decided not to take a rest...
I took all cash i was given plus my card;-) and hit charity shops in the center i remember so well from our Swedish times...
and eureca!... I managed not to buy any Bratz for repaint, but it was the first time I held Monster High in my hands and I fell for their articulation, and hey! Clawdin is technically a 'Black doll' plus  she came with outfit i could resale or some other excuses... there were some tempting Superstars - i almost lost my mind for... oh well - good stuff...

Got myself my first proper Fashionista doll...our relationship is a bit like 'I'm not in love but I wan't your body'... fully dressed, with shoes and jewelry, clean dress and original hairdo and interesting yet annoying green-yellow eyes...
I am almost completely sure it is not boxed doll outfit...and i can't seem to find her in any fashionista waves/guides....but hey it is yet another Teresa's face!

I decided to say goodbye to the dress - love the shape but soft pink and glitter...same with earrings..and head...don't let me start about this new anchor with hooks...and amounts of glue attached to it and still tumbling in her poor empty head.

p.s. i=ok, these are lovey faces, i'd be deighted on eyear ago ..but not having eas,Christies etc...

My doll nr 34

Today third doll from the first Swedish batch...
The only tanned brunette I could legally buy tbh...

She was going to became my first doll with wrist articulation - as she is this middle stage type of body - fashionista on top, belly button below the waist line...

She obviously belongs to another epoque: Glitter mania... and the Bulb head period...
oh and yes! One more Teresa - closed lips version...

I absolutely love her dark makeup but can't stand the lips... love her two-toned, very natural ballayage hair...but her head is soooo huge... I was going to remove her lips with varnish like I did with my first trans doll... but then the rebodying phase kicked in so I decided to behead her and sell it for spares - why not...

She turned out to be 2008 Fashion Wave Satin Safari Teresa doll (WTF!!???) - i'd never even look at her in this outfit...but maybe someone needs her so I won't mess with Mattel... /my only worry is that someone bow dried her hair and they are looking strange and dry...)

Cali Lea revisited

Revisited not re-styled as she is perfect...
She doesn't need any adornment me thinks...
By accident and chance I stumbled upon two boxes of dolls clothes in charity shop but they were very worn-out, tangled with each others velcros and rather expensive (plus i don't like artificial, stuff with glitter obviously). Managed to find few classic to resale and these leather looking slim pants and smart black sandals with a real closing strap (I guess they might be spice girl doll's).

Around the same time have been refreshing balkan folk doll with a very lovely face and well done costume - she had this black woolly vest with golden metallic embroidery... so Leia spent sometime sporting this ethno black outfit sitting on my desk...

Here is my fok dol - I'm an anthropologist after all...

i'll finish up with more ethnic tunes...

and a comparsion...

Lea revisited

I had problems with dressing her in something new and restyling...
She is quite serious, pensive yet beautifully tanned and ready to show some skin... her very dolly eyes are confusing me a bit...

She ended up in my old creation #earlyTeenYears... warm, deep, earthy colors looked great on her.
Bow is obviously terribly dated...
i removed it and added my personal favourite mixed sequins applique... it turned out very well but lilac silk was too faint in comparison to the bodice...

So I added few layers of matching tulle attached to ribbon (slightly vintage, Barbie trick) -
she can wear it as a cape aswell...

Then I had an evening of experimenting with hand-made necklaces... et voila!

its hard to free myself from all these chocolqtes, plums and berries but deep colours
are looking so good against darker skin...

Teresa 2007 revisited

...I changed my mind twice already - they were going to be presented as sisters again but I can always make two posts...(it doesn't seem too real I'll manage to separate them IRL anyway).

First of the sisters was stylised few months ago and it was one cold Spring...

she is wearing one of my more recent creations -
green-blue top with decorative stitche neckline and bootle green satine hairband
when clouds are covering sun again she puts on real, steal blue tweed jacket nicely contrasting with a raw, teal and brown silk skirt:

sorry for borring you with this wicke basket background...
I keep forgetting to go into plain air or even courtyard....

finished with lavender blue sandals
