The third of my monster and second of pastel team: Rochelle Goyle.
A Gargoyle girl from the Granit City  - she is made of stone-like gray plastic with black, graphite bits. She has lovely a dragonesque ears too and tiny little hands with claws - characteristic to earlier character wavs...
The pink gray combo is very pleasing, cotton candy hair are fun (even if heavely glued*) and thoe big huge eyes - Shrek's cat if it was a dragon girl or sth...

I am lucky enough to have this rocky gray bathroom foor as well as stony backyard - perfect! The book she is reading is about granite Tatra mountains...
She is wearing a powder pink satin bow only - he doesn't need much more (and I don't feel like i have time in my hand to deal with other bodytypes...)

My doll nr 32

...and now for something completely different...
Today we will have a first look into myslightly legendary Swedish bag of dolls...
I have visited my former hometown (two hometowns ago) this February just for one day. As it was around my birthday, well sort of I stated that, yes i will be beuying dolls secondhand;-)

First place that i have visited welcomed me with three ikea storage boxes full of nude and clothed (bagged) dolls... I freaked out...none of them was really an 'ethnic doll' but then I started to see fashionistas (I started to read blogs regularly so had dirty thoughts about 'donors' and clothes reselling...)...there were gingers, some rooted eyelashes, vintage Sindies, 80 Barbes is full set of clothes, god know what but i got overhelmed and kids went nuts... 

The doll I am presenting today was bought for a resale - the 'strange' quality of her vinyl, plastic and hair as well as rather minimal and natural make-up made me think she is older than she is... she had little toes on her legs and really retro looking yellowish blonde...
She might not be the treasure of seventies but its been literaly ages since I held 30 years old Superstar... its bitter sweet - how great is the priogress in thechnology of doll production but sad how plastic, hairline and doll-like objects of my childchood desire really look now...

Thanks to wonderful blog of Lunarh (in Polish) I cought the bug of purple-eyed superstars and she was the one how helped me identify her (noe jewelry).

Straight from shop she looked like that:

 classic blonde chrm is undeniable I'm afraid...

(also Fruhlingszauberg Barbie 1983 but I won't elaborate on that)

....so more about Teresas but not the ones you think about again;-)

and yes, 25 dolls is a high number so I stopped to lie to myself about dolls collecting/bringing home;-)

I was procrastinating hard with this entry as i am still confused about at least 4 faced Teresa...

I even have separate 'brunettes' folder withing 'Teresas' folder and one more just called 'research' because seriously... its serious and time cosuming;-)

I got two of them in one shipping - one without bracelet and with worse hair /not anymore ofc./ Accessories always help identifying surviwor dolls... 

Not in this case ofc LOL

To make sthe long story short - here are my lovely brunette twins as ebay made them:

 very simple, a bit timid

 it always surprises me how identical dolls change depending on light and angle...

 lovey, good quality, two colored chocolate soft hair on these two...

and a close-up of this nice gray-brown, NATURAL make-up (just before the glitter era;-))

so... I identify these dolls as New Teresa mold 2008...Smiling/ Open lips Teresa... 

and Chic Teresa 2008 (and 2007) according to Kattis dolls for example /different lips - i know/...

 

this headmold was at somepoint used on Barbies as well i suppose - also in cheap, supermarket stiffies it seems which is not verifying or falsifying any of my theory because there is none in this research :-P
